Oops.........let's not repeat this last month, please.

• Brett's bike stolen - should have locked it (thank goodness they didn't also take my unlocked bike with the trailer on it!)

• Brett's honda stolen - but it WAS locked!

Good news - it came back after a month. Bad news...engine .parts were missing and it really stunk :( Never new how time consuming and annoying getting your car stolen could be.

• Our house - A BIG MESS 1 day before baptism...walls wet with texture.  Now texture has some handprints...

• Staining doors - stain didn't take ... it's okay that the contractors were here waiting on us...

Bad stain. Bad door.                                       Good stain.  Good door.

 

• Porter's toe - cut open due to falling toilet tank lid - 2 trips to emergency and countless bandages until we gave up trying to keep it covered. Poor little kid :) This picture is at the point where we had stopped bandaging - it looks much better here than it did 4 days earlier.

• Leaving for school this a.m. on bikes only to be told to go back in our house until further notice...http://www.topix.com/city/livermore-ca/2012/09/suspected-gang-members-arrested-during-narcotics-search. 

Needless to say, we were late for school.  Not excused tardies either, mind you. Whatever......Police officer said they had guns out and were arresting 8 people. Not a huge surprise. Police were later seen hiding behind trees arresting more.......what a lovely neighborhood we live in :)
